A meeting of representatives of the Guild of guides with a scientist and a member of the faculty of sociology at Loughborough University (UK) Simon Schlegel

On 12 June, a meeting of representatives of the Guild of guides with Simon Schlegel , a scientist and a member of the faculty of sociology at Loughborough University (UK), who together with his colleagues is studying the question of how the dialogue between guides and tourists creates a picture of the past. The result is a two-hour meeting, we exchanged views, shared experience of work with tourists, talked about how the tours are created, how they affect the perception of a tourist city of the country that most often draws the attention of tourists and what is the role of a guide.
It was interesting to join the scientific work; I hope that the results of the study will be useful for anyone involved in the study of the foundations of excursion business and its methodology.
